Dear Summit Community,
Thank you for your continued support and interest in FLASH. Our goal is to host a healthy and safe in-person program this summer. With this goal in mind, FLASH 2021 will look different. Prior to COVID-19, our students moved from class to class, mixing with different students each period. This summer, we have created a plan where students move with a cohort of no more than 12 students through the same four classes.
Students will select a Learning Pathway based on his or her own interest. With the exception of “Let’s Put on a Musical,” each learning pathway will include four classes. Each of the four cohort class rosters will remain constant and rotate through the four classes in each pathway. There are six learning pathways for grades 4-8, and one pathway for FLASH Jr for grades 2 & 3. To ensure safety of all students and staff, students cannot customize schedules, nor can they substitute courses from other learning pathways.

Thank you,
Matt Stanbro, FLASH Coordinator
Bill O'Regan, FLASH Assistant Coordinator
