Yes. Families registering 2 or more children are eligible to receive a discount of $50 for the 2nd child and each subsequent child. Discounts will be applied to early bird or regular tuition.  Discounts will be automatically applied during the registration process.

Can I cancel and/or receive a refund?
Our cancellation and refund policy will be uploaded when registration opens.

Why are there cancellation fees after May 15?
First, FLASH is responsible for fees to our registration company for individual registrations and each cancellation.  Therefore, Cancellation Fees are required to cover the costs of individual fees and Administrative Costs associated with each cancellation that occurs, regardless of whether or not a student actually attends.  Second, registered students take up space in classes, which prevents others from registering for their preferred classes. Third, class schedules and lesson plans are designed around those that have enrolled. Teachers consider and plan for the number of students and the varied ages of students.  FLASH orders supplies based on enrolled students, and FLASH is unable to recover the cost paid for those resources when a student does not attend the program. The fee structure for the Cancellation Fees is based on a part of the cost FLASH has already paid in anticipation of the student’s enrollment.

Do camp counselors or teachers run the FLASH courses?
All FLASH courses in Sports Academy, FLASH Jr, and FLASH 4-8 are taught by certified New Jersey teachers.  Many classes have additional help from high school and college students called student helpers.  Student Helpers assist the teachers and promote a safe and positive atmosphere.

Can my child(ren) bring cell phones to FLASH?
Yes, students may bring cell phones to FLASH.  Students are required to keep cell phones  silent or powered off AND stored in their bag or pocket during the hours of FLASH.  Students are not permitted to use cell phones during class or while in the hallways of FLASH.

What if my child has medical or special needs?
We aim to make FLASH an enjoyable experience for all students. While IEPs are not available at FLASH, we still try to accommodate  student needs.  We encourage you to contact the FLASH Coordinator via email.  Concerns will be addressed on an individual basis.

What type of clothing and footwear is appropriate for FLASH?
We want your child(ren) to be as safe and comfortable as possible. Therefore, we ask that students wear sneakers or closed toed shoes. Flip-flops and sandals may interfere with some activities.

Yes, they may bring a water bottle and a small snack.
