FLASH Jr
FLASH Jr and FLASH 4-8 take place at the same location and on the same dates. FLASH Jr is available to students entering grades 2 & 3 in September. Students participate in five courses which encourage students to grow and explore their talents. Students will be placed into a group with peers from the same school. Groups stay together and rotate to through the five courses below.
FLASH Jr Courses
FLASH Jr. Chorus
Students learn basic vocal principles and have an opportunity to create music together. All FLASH Jr students participate in the FLASH Closing Ceremony on the last evening of the program.
FLASH Jr. Kid-Lit Creations
Students are immersed in popular children’s book series and their imaginative elements. Children explore these worlds and bring them to life through creative design and acting.
FLASH Jr. Cooperative Games
Students participate in team-building activities that combine physical activities with critical thinking. Everyone is guaranteed to have fun playing many classic gym games!
FLASH Jr. Art
Students complete various arts and crafts projects while learning the basics of drawing, painting, and using various tools.
FLASH Jr. Imagine That!
Students are challenged with STEM problem-solving tasks using the engineering design process. Children collaborate with their friends and find solutions as a team.
